Dursley Rugby Football Club
Changing for the Future
Dursley RFC has enjoyed unprecedented growth and success over the last 10 years and to match our ambitions we are building brand new changing facilities. Work began in Summer 2016 and will be complete by Spring 2017.
Why do we need new facilities?
We have the largest Mini and Youth Section in Gloucestershire with over 450 boys and girls enjoying sport on a Sunday morning. We have a ladies team and a growing running club using our facilities too. We have achieved a lot but want to achieve so much more.
We need facilities that best support our current membership as they grow up in the club and provide sporting facilities to the adults and children of our local communities.
We are now in the building stage of our brand new changing room block, built to an RFU specification that will provide us with a wonderful new facility for male and female changing, disabled access and the option of developing the old changing rooms into new social space.

Building on the achievements of a great local club
These new facilities will help us to achieve even more, our success so far includes:
We were one of the first two clubs in the county to gain Whole Club Seal of Approval from the RFU.
We regularly run three senior teams and 12 mini and youth teams
We have planned for, purchased and developed land for a new pitch.
We regularly have players playing for Gloucester Rugby Academy and for the Stroud district sides.
We have relaunched and are growing our Ladies section
Running and Cricket regularly take place on our ground
And of course we have produced two full England Internationals in Ben Morgan and Charlie Sharples.
