Remembering Ali Kerr 1951-2020
8th September 2020
Remembering Alan Kerr (1951-2020) a tribute from Club President, John Darlaston
Sadly Alan (Ali) Kerr died in Gloucester Royal Hospital in the early hours of Sunday 6 September age 68 years. Our sympathy goes out to his family.
Ali first became involved in the Rugby Club as a 16 year old schoolboy. In those days there were no regulations regarding age and the playing of senior rugby. Over more than 50 years he has made a significant contribution to the Club as a player, administrator, coach to juniors, tourist and in many other ways.
He was always around at the Club abd his presence will be sadly missed. Ali’s connections with the Club are best expressed in photos rather than just words.
Rest in Peace Ali.
