Dursley started the new season very slowly in a bad tempered, low quality encounter with Keynsham.
From the kick off, Dursley conceded a soft try as Keynsham stole the ball from the first maul moved the ball wide to outflank the Dursley defence to score in the corner.
Things then went from bad to worse as a second try was conceded almost immediately, this time the conversion was missed.
The outcome of the game looked to be set already, but to their credit Dursley hit back and dominated possession and territory for the rest of the half without really looking like breaking down the visitors defence.
The second half started as the first half finished with Dursley on top but the game became very scrappy with lots of infringements spoiling the game.
As the match entered its final phases Dursley had what domination of play there was but never looked like breaching the Keynsham defence who held on fairly comfortably to win a typical start of season match.
