Dursley put in a much improved performance of late against a very talented Longlevens side; the final score was not a true reflection of the balance of play with two late tries being conceded.
During the game the Dursley forwards more than matched the opposition with Sam Evans and Harry Lea outstanding in both defence and attack, providing a lot of ball for Tom Hancock to make several breaks around the base of the scrum, one of which almost resulted in what would have been a deserved try.
Josh Owen had an outstanding game at full back with some fine attacking breaks, and very aggressive tackling, which set a great example to the rest of the team.
At the end of the game Dursley should look back and realise that if they kept their concentration levels up in defence for all the game they would have run Longlevens much closer, which could have resulted in a different score line.
