18th January 2012
The U12s County Cup was held at Cirencester RFC with 25 teams competing 5 pools. Dursley were drawn in a tough pool and their first game was against former County Cup Champs Old Patesians. Although Dursley had most of the possession it was Old Pats who finally scored due to a handling error by Dursley and won 5-0. However Dursley battled back and scored two tries through Ethan Seville and Captain, Ben Cole to win 10-5. The Dursley took on Berry Hill from the Forest of Dean scoring 3 unanswered tries through Jack Barton, Jack Reeves and Ben Cole. The final match between Painswick and Dursley decided who would go through the Cup Quarter Finals as runners up to Old Patesians . Dursley put on a fine display of running rugby to win 25-0 with tries from Jack Barton, Jack Reeves, Alex Butler, Jake Overton and Robert Dakin.
Dursley drew Cleve RFC from Magotsfield in Bristol in the quarter finals. Dursley scored two tries both sides of half time through Jack Reeves and Alex Butler.
