T J hat trick takes Dursley Nomads to the final.

Three tries by T J Case helped Dursley Nomads to win an important victory on Saturday and take them to the final of the Bill Adams Trophy for the second year running. The first 40 minutes were very even with one side then the other taking the lead so that by half time it was 15 – 15.
The second half started in similar vein, but the downhill advantage and the start of heavy rain began to work in Dursley’s favour. The last thirty minutes saw an avalanche of tries with some notable solo efforts from the younger players such as Sprague, the McDonald brothers and Dungworth.
The game was played in a good spirit with Tetbury never giving up despite the constant pressure. Perhaps two of the highlights were the tries scored by Hollingworth and Searle, both of which required fifty yard sprints beating a number of players with their side steps and use of space. The other tries were scored by Webb and Stamp whilst the metronomic boot of Powell added to the pain by converting many of the touch downs.
