Dursley travelled to promotion candidates Hucclecote without the pressures associated with promotion and relegation and in a pretty much relaxed but focused mode.
Dursley were put under immense pressure from the kick off by the much bigger opponents but awesome defence by the whole team thwarted the hosts.
At half time the sides turned around with Dursley trailing 5-3 with the chance of an upset. However it wasn’t to be as the constant pressure told as Hucclecote ran in 3 tries during the second half, despite more possession in the second half Dursley couldn’t cross the Hucclecote line for the deserved try. In the end Hucclecote just about earned the victory over a dogged Dursley team.
