As chair, I would like wish you and your family a very warm welcome to Dursley rugby club, with over 500 registered players from U6-U19 we are one of the biggest M & J clubs in Gloucestershire. We are also very proud to have one of the best settings, with pitches nestled with in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.

We are looking forward to an exciting season full of great rugby and hope that players and parents alike get a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure from the season.

Our clubs basic philosophy is to enjoy all aspects of rugby. It's a great game for making new friends and generally socialising. We should respect all coaches, players, officials and parents, either from our own club or from our opposing teams. Don’t forget decisions can go for and against you, it may not feel fair, but please enjoy the games and most of all have fun.

DRFC codes of conduct for players, coaches, supporters and child protection. To this end all our coaches and Volunteers are all CRB checked. Health and Safety of our players is paramount, that is why all our coaches hold a minimum level 1 coaching qualification. We take great care to promote safe rugby at Dursley.

We are pleased to have purchased a further 8.5 acres of extra land, providing the age groups with a breath taking place to play rugby.

To conclude, we wish to play good rugby and get as many children as possible running around and having fun on a Sunday morning in what is undoubtedly the most beautiful setting in the country.
